Who we are
Next Level Tax Resolution, Inc. is a CPA firm located at 240 Blossom Park Drive, Suite 3, Georgetown, Kentucky 40324. You can reach us at katherine@nextleveltaxresolution.com or (800) 236-3741.
This policy explains what we do with information collected through this website. Information you give us as a client is handled differently and more strictly — see "If you become a client" below.
What we collect through this website
Information you give us. When you complete a form, book a consultation, or download a guide, we collect what you enter — typically your name, email address, phone number, and whatever you tell us about your situation.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, ours records technical information such as IP address, browser type, device, pages visited and referring source. We use analytics tools for this. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
We do not ask for your Social Security number, tax identification number, or payment card details through this website. If a form on this site ever appears to request them, don't complete it — contact us instead.
What we use it for
- Responding to your enquiry and scheduling a consultation
- Sending you a guide or resource you requested
- Following up about your enquiry, including by email and — if you have consented — by text message
- Understanding how the site is used so we can improve it
- Meeting our legal and professional obligations
We do not use website information to make automated decisions about you.
Text messages
If you provide a phone number and tick the SMS consent box, we may text you about your enquiry or appointment. Consent is not a condition of any service. Message and data rates may apply and message frequency varies. Reply STOP at any time to opt out, or HELP for help.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your enquiry with lead buyers, referral networks, or "trusted partners."
That is worth stating plainly, because it is not the norm in this industry. Several large tax relief companies include terms allowing them to pass your details to other firms if they decide not to take your case. We don't do that.
We share information only with:
- Service providers who operate our systems — website hosting, email, our scheduling and client relationship platform, and analytics. They act on our instructions and may not use your information for their own purposes.
- Professional advisers, where we need advice about our own obligations.
- Authorities, where we are legally required to disclose.
If you become a client
Once you engage us, your information is client information and is subject to a stricter framework than this website policy:
- Confidentiality obligations under the professional standards applicable to CPAs, including Circular 230.
- IRC §7216, the federal statute governing disclosure and use of tax return information by tax return preparers. Under it, we generally cannot disclose or use your tax return information for any purpose other than preparing your return or representing you, without your specific written consent. We will not ask you for that consent in order to market to you or to pass your information to anyone else.
- Our information security obligations as a firm handling financial information.
If we ever want to use something you've told us — a testimonial, for instance — we will ask you separately and in writing, and you are free to say no.
How long we keep it
Website enquiries are retained for as long as needed to respond and for a reasonable period afterwards. Client records are retained for the periods required by professional standards, tax law and our own record-retention policy — generally several years after an engagement ends.
Security
We take reasonable measures to protect information in our systems, including access controls and encryption in transit. No system is completely secure, so please do not send sensitive documents, Social Security numbers or financial statements by ordinary email. If you need to send us something sensitive, ask and we'll tell you how.
Your choices
- Email: unsubscribe using the link in any marketing email.
- Text: reply STOP.
- Access, correction or deletion: email katherine@nextleveltaxresolution.com and tell us what you'd like. Some information must be retained where professional or legal obligations require it.
- Cookies and analytics: manage through your browser settings.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights over your personal information, including the right to know what we hold and to request deletion. Contact us and we'll respond in accordance with the law that applies to you. We will not treat you differently for exercising a right.
Children
This website is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
Third-party links
We link to other sites, including IRS.gov and Google. Those sites have their own privacy practices and we aren't responsible for them.
Changes
We may update this policy. The "last updated" date above will change when we do. Material changes will be flagged on this page.
